Director's Notes
Clearly, live theatre is alive and well in Evergreen! Through the support and generosity of the Evergreen community, in 2009 we were able to bring the regional premiere of Sixteen Wounded to the Evergreen community and I was fortunate to perform in Escanaba in Da Moonlight. And in March of this year, we will be reviving the popular show The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged.
And now I am proud to present Parallel Lives, written by Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney. I also have the great honor of directing the two most talented actresses I have ever directed, Lisa DeCaro and Gail Montgomery. They are the driving force behind this great production. They have made my job easy.
So thank you Evergreen, for your continued support of live theatre, right here in your own backyard. If this is your first time at Center Stage, or seeing a show by The Evergreen Players, welcome. If you like what you see, please consider making a donation or buying season tickets. The price of tonight's show will be applied to the purchase price and you also guarantee getting the best seats for our 2010 season, including Love Letters, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Urinetown, and The Cripple of Innishman, and A Christmas Carol, all at the best possible price.
If you have any questions or comments about Parallel Lives or The Evergreen Players, please don't hesitate to email me personally at lmatheo@gmail.com. Enjoy tonight's performance of Parallel Lives!
