Richard Beall Hans
Rich has had a long career as a Denver radio personality and was an original cast member of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts opening season. His most recent credit is Juror #4 in Spotlight Theater Company's production of 12 Angry Men. His long theater resume includes tours on military bases in Japan, Guam, Korea, and other stops. David Blumenstock Ashraf
David Blumenstock is proud to be a cast member of Sixteen Wounded and to be working with such a fine cast and production team. Some of his favorite roles include his various bits in Metamorphoses, Buddy in Kimberly Akimbo, Claudius/Ghost in Hamlet, and being an ensemble member/writer for the satiric live soap opera The Bold and the Boulder. Stephen Cronk Hooligan
Meridith Crosley Nora
Meridith Crosley, is an award-winning actor, improviser and teacher. She has worked with The Second City, American Conservatory Theatre, The Denver Center Training Center, i.O Chicago, Strawdog Theatre Company, Art Street Theatre Company, Naropa University, The Arvada Center, Sprung Movement Theatre, The Dark Eyed Strangers, Bas Bleu Theatre, The Evergreen Players and Square Product Theatre Company. Meridith holds an M.F.A. in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University.
Len Matheo Director
Len Matheo Matheo began his acting and directing career in New York City. After graduating from S.U.N.Y. New Paltz, he studied with Terry Schreiber, Vivian Matalon, and Curt Dempster. He also performed in many off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway productions, including the US Premiere of The Hired Man and Horton Foote's Blind Date. He recently directed the Evergreen Players critically acclaimed production of Brilliant Traces which also played at The Vintage Theatre. Recent acting roles include: The Cherry Orchard with Theatre Works, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (The Evergreen Players) Zoo Story (Vintage Theatre Prods.); Moon Over Buffalo, Love Letters, Down the Road, The Miracle Worker, Sabrina, and Sylvia (Evergreen Players); Special thanks to Lisa DeCaro and Ella Jane the loves of his life, and inspiration in all things.
Wadi Muhaisen Mahmoud
Wadi Muhaisen was consulting Director Len Matheo on Sixeen Wounded's script when Matheo impulsively asked him to audition for the lead role of Mahmoud. The rest, as they say, is history. Wadi is a prolific litigation attorney in private practice in Denver who has also taught political science at the University of Colorado at Denver. He has given hundreds of lectures and interviews on political, international, and legal topics. Sixteen Wounded is Wadi's theater debut.
Glen Ness Stage Manager
Glen enjoys working behind the scenes with the Evergreen Players. You'll find him lurking in the shadows as stage manager and while involved with lighting and sound. Sixteen Wounded is the latest of many productions he's had the privilege of being part of in Evergreen. This is an unbelievably talented cast and crew and many thanks go out to Len for including him. Other productions include Night Watch, Moon Over Buffalo and Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged). Glen would like to thank everyone for coming and supporting the theater!
Sherrie Scott Sonya
Sherrie's passion for developing new plays began at the University of Iowa's Playwright's Actor's Ensemble and as a professional member of the Boston Theater Group. She has collaborated, directed and acted in numerous original productions including the hit musical Caught in the Act and City Stage Ensemble's The Executive's Sorcerer and Bitten by a Snake. Most recently she co-wrote and performed in the new, acclaimed musical Something's Going On that she is currently co-adapting for the screen. Some of her favorite roles include Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Marjorie in Extremities, Marianne in Tartuffe, Rachel in Reckless and Ariel in the Tempest. She is also a professional voice over talent, singer/songwriter and develops TV, film and Social Change Media projects. Currently, she and her husband are producing a documentary film in Uganda titled Poor People Aren't Stupid: Reinventing Foreign Aid.
