This charming little comedy tells the tale of a famous Hollywood television star, Andrew Rally, who has recently purchased an apartment in New York where John Barrymore used to live. Andrew has just come off a highly lucrative and successful television series and is coming to New York perform in Hamlet to beef up his resume and respect in the acting community. The only problem is that he hates Hamlet. Well, the ghost of Barrymore still haunts his old apartment and is compelled to show Andrew the error of his ways.

Andy Anderson Barrymore

This is Andy's first production with Evergreen Players. Bernie Cardell Director

Bernie is very pleased to be working on this script, with this excellent cast, with this superb creative team. Thanks to Sarah for being an excellent "co." Previous Evergreen Players credits include directing Love Letters, Moon Over Buffalo, Wait Until Dark as well as playing Toad in the musical A Year with Frog and Toad. Other favorite directing credits include The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow for Next Stage and Music From a Sparkling Planet for The Firehouse Theater Company. Upcoming projects include directing The Boys Next Door and Murderers for Vintage Theater and playing on stage again in Spotlight's Laughter on the 23rd Floor this summer. Seth Maisel Fight Choreography

Peggy Miller Lillian

"This is Peggy's first appearance with the Evergreen Players. After having seen MANY wonderful shows here, she is thrilled to be a part of this exciting production. Some of Peggy's favorite roles include Big Mama from "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", Raynelle from "Dearly Departed", Boo from "The Last Night of Ballyhoo" and Clairee in "Steel Magnolias". She is also excited to work with three of her cast-mates and the three directors again & the opportunity to get to know the other actors & production people."

Elizabeth Parks Deirdre

A native of Missouri and long-time, self-proclaimed nomad, Elizabeth has finally found a home here in sunny Colorado... for the last three years. Prior to her Rocky Mountain residence, Elizabeth endured the glory of exotic Ohio where she completed all of her higher education. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Franciscan University and an M.A. in French from Bowling Green State University. She has however, lived in both Switzerland and France and studied theatre and dance at Université François Rabelais. An active member of the Denver theatre community, she has acted and directed for the Playwrights Showcase of the Western Region and graced the stages of The Aurora Fox, Impulse Theater and Germinal Stage Denver. Her most recent and most enjoyably collaborative theatre experience includes writing and performing for The Bovine Metropolis Theater. Currently, Elizabeth is a member of the Theatre faculty and staff at Red Rocks Community College.

Pat Payne Assistant Director

Pat Payne (Assistant Director) is very excited to be going up the mountain and working with his favorite director, actor and all around good guy Bernie Cardell. Pat has directed and produced theatre for the last decade and is looking forward to his upcoming directing projects with his company Spotlight Theatre including Laughter on the 23rd Floor (featuring his favorite theatre person mentioned above) opening in July.

Phil Rosenberg-Watt Andrew

Philip Rosenberg-Watt (Andrew Rally) is excited to be in his second Evergreen Players production. Previously he was spotted as Cornelius in Hello, Dolly! (Performance Now), Man #2 in I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Evergreen Players), and Mr. McQueen in Urinetown: The Musical (at the Denver Wastewater Management Building). Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Fine Arts in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California. When not being an actor playing an actor, he runs his own start-up film/video production company, NeoVisic Productions, Inc. He is a leo and enjoys moonlit strolls on the beach and fine Italian dining.

Sarah Roshan Director

Sarah has been involved in various forms of theatre and performance, both on and offstage much of her life. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Seen all over the metro area she participated in 27 productions last year alone. Most recent directing credits include Wizard of Oz, Charlotte's Web, and Wonka! all for a children's theatre in South Denver. She is also directed the critically acclaimed Barefoot in the Park at The Denver Victorian Playhouse last summer. Known mostly for her scenic designs and scenic art, she keeps busy painting the sets at the Arvada Center and Miner's Alley Playhouse, and Designing shows at The Denver Victorian Playhouse and Carousel Dinner Theatre. Luke Terry Gary

Luke Allen Terry cannot tell you how excited he is to finally be working with the galactically famous Bernie Cardell in I Hate Hamlet! An Evergreen native, it's good to be back in his stomping ground. Most recently he performed best friend "Joe" in The Tender Trap for Spotlight Theatre Company and "Harry Pepper" in Barefoot In The Park at the Denver Vic. His sound design work was also recently heard for Hunger Artist's The Shape Of Things. Luke wishes to thank Bernie, Sarah and P@ for allowing him to continue his dream, the bink crew for all of the good times, his friends near and far, everyone who has ever believed in him and supported him from the beginning, tiger for the friendship, and lastly Mom and Dad, for without them, this would not at all be possible. Linda Williams Felicia

Linda is very excited to be working with Bernie and to be back with the Evergreen Players, for whom she directed Jack Neary's romantic comedy Five Nickels last year. Some of Linda's favorite acting roles include Kess in Independence, Boo in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Sister Woman in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Maggie in Lend Me a Tenor, and Mrs. Mandelbaum in Crossing Delancey. When she's not hamming it up in Hamlet, Linda plays the role of corporate trainer and "spare tire" at Training Wheels, a teambuilding and leadership development company based in Littleton.
