Evergreen Players Drama Camp 2012

Two-week summer day camp with sessions for boys and girls ages 5-18 to experience performing in our Center/Stage theater beautifully nestled in the foothills. Only 30 minutes from downtown Denver, we not only have campers from the mountain area, but the metro area, Brighton - even Burlington and Steamboat Springs!

Scene Stealers: July 16-20

This first week of camp is a fun-filled experience onstage! Kids jump into stories from children's literature and bring them to life in these wonderful sessions created for our youngest actors. This exciting week ends with a performance that puts your child in the spotlight!

Same great session the 2nd week of camp...a fun-filled week onstage! Kids jump into stories from children's literature and bring them to life in these wonderful sessions created for our youngest actors. This exciting week ends with a performance that puts your child in the spotlight!

Children may enroll in both weeks of camp and play a different role in a new story each week.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Campers' favorite!!

In this crazy Shakespeare classic there are mistaken identities, a play-within-a-play, fairies, a king & queen and a spell that turns one of the characters into a donkey! Kids in this session will audition for, rehearse, memorize and perform this full-length production in only two-weeks! Kids will jump into this classic tale - however our version uses modern English language!

Happily Ever After?

Kids in this session will start with the fairy tales we know and love, but add their own unique twist! In this fun, creative session the kids will help write the show that they will perform at the end of the week.

Page to Stage

Kids will have a blast creating their very own show! In this session, our instructors will guide the campers as they develop plot, set and characters. At the end of the week the group will perform a show in which each child is both an actor and a playwright!

Teen Improv Comedy & Acting

Teens have a high-energy, laugh-out-loud experience while learning the art of improvisational comedy. Performing scenes and learning to embody different roles are some of the ways the teens understand what it takes to be an actor. At the end of the week they will perform an improv show at Center Stage!

Teen Musical Theatre: GREASE!

The popular Broadway musical & movie "Grease" is the theme that last year's teens voted to perform this summer! Memorable music, great characters, 50's costumes...FUN!

Registration Policy

If you find that you are unable to attend, you can receive a 100% refund if we hear from you prior to May 31st. A 50% refund is available after this time. There is a minimum number of students required for each session in order for it to run. If a session does not reach the minimum required, refunds will be made in full. There will be a $25 charge for all returned checks. You will receive an initial confirmation once we receive your payment.
