Evergreen Players Announce 56th Season Line-Up

Evergreen, CO - The Evergreen Players celebrate their 56th season doing what they do best: staging adventures that change lives. The 2005-2006 season features four famous productions with broad audience appeal: Wait Until Dark (Frederick Knott), Sabrina Fair (Samuel Taylor), Marvin's Room (Scott McPherson), and A Year With Frog and Toad (Willie and Robert Reale).
"In 1950, some special citizens of Evergreen had a dream of building a first-class theater in this community," says Players' president Molly Epstein. "They knew that live theatre has the power to bring us joy, to wake us up, to help us see the world through new eyes. This season, the Players have selected four incredible productions that will definitely do just that."
The 2005-2006 season will launch in gripping fashion. From the author of Dial 'M' for Murder comes one of the most famous thrillers of our time, Wait Until Dark (Oct 21 - Nov 6, 2005, directed by Bernie Cardell). Described as "a first-rate shocker" by the New York Post, Wait Until Dark, will make you keep the lights on!
A modern Cinderella story brings in the New Year. Sabrina Fair (Jan 20 - Feb 4, 2006, directed by Gene Kato), is the charming and delightful romantic comedy on which the Humphrey Bogart/Audrey Hepburn movie was based, while the Players' Spring production, Marvin's Room (Mar 24 - Apr 9, 2006, directed by Kim Luckie), has won universal acclaim for its refreshing take on the power of love, the meaning of family and the value of caring during the deepest struggles in life and illness.
The 2005-2006 season concludes with the charming, family musical, A Year With Frog and Toad (Jul 7 - Aug 6, 2006, directed by Wendy Moore). Tried and true friends Frog and Toad navigate through a fun-filled year, joined by some colorful companions along the way.
Season tickets
Season tickets are on sale now. Patrons save up to 20% off ticket prices when purchasing the Full Season package (4 shows). Prices for a Full Season package include admission for one to each show in the 2005-2006 Season. Adult Season Ticket: $60; Senior (60+)/Student Season Ticket: $45; Children (12 & under): $28.

Bring the family and save! The Family 4-Pack package includes admission for two adults and two children to one show in the 2005-2006 Season.
Birthday Subscription
The Evergreen Players are celebrating their 56th year. If a patron turns 56 between September 1, 2005 and August 31, 2006, he or she receives a complimentary full season package! (I.D. required)
Group Sales
Patrons who organize a group of friends, co-workers, family, church members, students or any other group of 10 or more save up to 15% on tickets! ($3 off each ticket, plus one free ticket for the group organizer).
